What About Transfer Applicants!?!?!?

What About Transfer Applicants!?!?!?

We know a great deal of our transfer applicants are anxiously waiting for decisions and many have the questions that are same! We hear you and hope this FAQ shall assist as you wait to listen to from us.

When will we find out my decision?

All transfer students whom put on USC for fall 2015 admission will be notified of either a choice, or a request for more information by 1 june. We have been in the means of making decisions, so some pupils have heard back from us even though many have not. Just it is good or bad news there are still a couple weeks until June 1 and we are making our way through all the applications because you haven’t heard from our office yet does not mean.

What does a Spring Grade Request mean?
For some pupils, we are not able to create a decision with the information we have. We might request to see your final springtime grades to help us in creating a choice. As they are available if you received a spring grade request, please send us your grades as soon. Various schools finish at different occuring times, so the faster you can deliver us your grades, the faster we could get an admission choice back to you.

Our company is mindful that lots of semester system schools finish in May and many quarter systems in June. Our admission counselors are conscious of this timeline, and we are going to be accommodating to each individual college, but again, don’t delay in sending us your grades whenever we asked for them.

If I’m admitted, when can I find out which of my classes transfer to USC?
Students whom are admitted and enroll at USC will receive a Transfer Credit Report (TCR) that details classes that will transfer and which requirements are being met. These reports are available three to six weeks after a student submits their commitment deposit, and we receive complete and official transcripts of all college work, and official exam scores. Students will receive an email notification when the TCR can be acquired to see at my.usc.edu.

What about Financial Aid?
If you met all deadlines and eligibility requirements and immediately submitted any additional papers the school funding Office requested, you may be notified of your financial aid within 7 business days after you have been admitted to USC. You can monitor your award status online at My Financial Aid & Documents (https://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/my_fa/index.html).

Spring Admission?
While all students requested the Fall 2015 semester, some students are admitted to the Spring 2016 semester. This permits us to accommodate more students. We encourage pupils to keep taking courses either at their current institution or another college. If you are admitted to the Spring semester and now have questions about what to do into the fall, you can contact your https://shmoop.pro/buy-cause-and-effect-essay/ admission counselor for more info.

Hello through the other side….

Interviews…another area of the college application process. We’re currently finishing up our on-campus interviews through the conclusion of November (Thanksgiving excluded.) You might also see us conducting interviews in cities in your area throughout the United States. At this aspect in the process, it’s feasible you’ve currently gone via a college that is few, and I’m sure at the end you left with either emotions of success, frustration, excitement or a variety of other adjectives that could describe the doubt that is an interview. Hopefully I am able to provide you with a little insight into that which we are thinking during those 30 moments. Our interviews generally last around 25 moments and we as admission counselors, spend afternoons, from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm, interviewing around five students. So, what is actually going through our minds once we sit down across the table from you? Well, that largely varies according to you…
