The Philadelphia Eagles declared their practice session on Wednesday due to a lengthening early season injury record.
Instead, on what could be a significant clinic afternoon for the NFL team head trainer Doug Pederson opted to hold a walk-through.
“Number one, together with the guys that are a bit nicked up who have a chance to play in this soccer game, I want them to find the rep in training. Normally we proceed a cushioned afternoon,” said Pederson.
“And , two, we have some young guys who may have to play with, and they’re also servicing the defense or the offense, and so this way it allows everybody to still practice and keep their focus and get our job done that we must get done today.”
One of the wounded Eagles are recipients DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jefferyend Dallas Goedert, running back Corey Clement and defensive tackles Malik Jackson and Tim Jernigan.
After shooting a shot in Sunday’s 24-20 loss tight end Zach Ertz is currently dealing with tender ribs.
Pederson stated in lost Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, Jernigan will join Jackson.
“Well, we understand Tim’s likely to be a little bit more,” Pederson said. “The other guys are day-to-day, more daily. They’re doing well and we will have an update in the close of the week.”
