Stoke City director Nathan Jones insists despite not recording a win in their first 10 Championship matches this season, hell struggle to be successful in the club.
Before guiding the Hatters the Welshman arrived from Luton after winning promotion from League Two.
However, Jones has won just a few of his 34 matches and they also suffered a 1-0 defeat at home night.
Regardless of their winless start to the effort, Jones insists hell attempt to succeed in the club.
He said on Thursday:Following the game on Tuesday there was lots of emotion and that I wear my heart on my plate. I didnt need to come out and say the things that I have.
I talk to the owners all of the time and they are amazing. They know and I am a fighter. They have been talked to by me this morning. I understand they want me to succeed and are fully behind me. I just have to repay that faith.
I am a strong, hard-working boss and front up things. For however long Im here I will do this. Get this first win and it would be a step in the ideal direction
Stoke have a test on Saturday when they visit the Liberty Stadium to face Swansea.
Jones stays optimistic about his sides chances and believes his players are able to get out of the current circumstance.
He added:We always put out to win matches. We will try and find ways be skeptical of everything Swansea City provide but also to be creative at the weekend.
When I believed that the players were not with me I wouldnt be sat here now. I know theyre. Many are going through a tough time at the moment I do not think there is a scarcity of work-rate.
Everyone has to step up no matter the supervisor. We must begin now. Nothing is incorrect, it is merely margins.
My job is not to be concerned about myself but to get benefits. I must lead as a supervisor. I really dont shirk duty and I am up for the battle. I really dont wish to give up here since I think we could turn it around. I understand the owners patience wont last forever
